Elder Freda has faithfully served as Co-Pastor of Open Door Fellowship alongside her husband, Bishop Joel Anderson. Together, they lead a thriving ministry committed to connecting people to Christ through biblical teaching, authentic worship, discipleship, and meaningful community engagement. Their shared vision is to cultivate a church where lives are transformed, hope is restored, and every person is empowered to fulfill God’s purpose.
Ordained as an Elder at the age of eighteen, Pastor Freda has spent decades serving the body of Christ in local, national, and international ministry. Her leadership has included roles as Chief Prophet, Ministry Overseer, and Chief Elder of Prophetic Ministries, where she has provided spiritual oversight, prophetic counsel, leadership development, and ministry training.
Prayer remains the cornerstone of her calling. As Founder of Sisters Praying With Purpose International Prayer Ministry, Pastor Freda has cultivated a growing movement of women united in prayer and prophetic intercession. The ministry exists to strengthen women, build authentic relationships, and mobilize believers to advance the Kingdom of God through prayer and faith.

Pastor Freda earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Divinity from Regent University with concentrations in Practical Theology and Chaplaincy. She is also a certified Chaplain and Certified Life Coach from Lifeforming Leadership Coaching. Her academic work reflects her passion for developing healthy disciples, strengthening church engagement, and equipping leaders to serve with biblical wisdom and compassion.
She is the CEO of Pathways Development Corporation, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing mental health, homelessness, leadership development, and community well-being through education, advocacy, and collaborative partnerships.
Pastor Freda and Bishop Joel Anderson have been joyfully married for over forty years and are the proud parents of two adult daughters, Jordan and Morgan. Together, they remain committed to serving God, strengthening families, and building communities where faith, hope, and love flourish.
